Mission

Kentucky Wesleyan College in conjunction with the Green River chapter of the Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers (K.S.P.E.) has a student engineering society.   Our student engineering society seeks to support the state mission of K.S.P.E., which is:

The mission of the Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers is to promote the ethical, competent, and licensed practice of engineering, and to enhance the professional, social, and economic well being of our members.

In addition, our student engineering society acts as a hub for our engineering students. We participate in engineering events locally, regionally, and statewide.  Our goals include:

 Ø provide opportunities to interact with local engineers;

 Ø      supplement academic training;

 Ø      serve the local and regional community;

 Ø      participate in activities that fuel interest in engineering;

 Ø      offer internships and experiences in engineering.
