Course
Syllabus contains important course information, schedule, and notes.

Final Engineering Design Project Reports
will be done in Microsoft Word, and then uploaded to the assignment
cross-checking system Turnitin. Before uploading your report, first time users will need to create an account
at which time you will also enroll in the physics course. Existing
users will need to login to their account and enroll in the physics
course before uploading their reports.
The instructor will provide all students with a course ID and
password.

For
class participation, you must purchase a TurningPoint
RF clicker. Clickers can be purchased at the bookstore. Make sure you
purchase the right clicker! You must then register
your clicker. When you register your
clicker, you will need to know your Device ID, First Name, Last Name,
and Other Info is your student
number (on your KWC ID card). In
addition, the Instructor Email is
johnsonb@kwc.edu and the class is ENGR
1301 – Introduction to Engineering. If you need instructions, see the
following tutorial.
Course Evaluations are an important component of our
instructional program. An on-line course evaluation system was developed to
allow each student ample time to evaluate the course and instructor, thus
providing the institution with meaningful numerical scores and detailed
commentary while minimizing the loss of instructional time in the
classroom. The evaluation window for Fall 2011 will open on Monday,
November 28, 2011 and will close on Friday, December 9, 2011. To access the system during this time,
simply go to evaluation
and proceed through the survey. Be
sure to close the browser tab when you are finished so that your responses
are saved and you are given credit for the evaluation. You will need to use your student number (on your KWC ID card) to log into the
system; however, when you log in you will be assigned a random number that
will keep all your comments and scores anonymous.
