Danila, Bob and Nancy at the music store.  Nancy was showing Bob some Slovene rock. It turns out that Danila  has family in  Cleveland , Ohio where there is a large Slovene community.

This is the gostilna of the hawk in old town Ljubljana.  It sits below the castle in Ljubljana .
This is the path up to the Ljubljana Castle.  This path has two hairpin curves and only one place to rest.  Nan and Bob had an easy day going around Ljubljana.  We rode the bus , walked all around, climbed hills and dealt with rain, wind and cold.  It was just a typical earlyl spring day in Ljubljana.
Nancy and Bob with Prof..Ivan Pucelj, who is a retired mathematician from the University of Ljubljana.  We made his acquaintaince while walking in the castle.  He has family in Pueblo, Colorado and hopes they will come to visit him soon.  Ivan is very knowledgeable about northern Native American languages that were used near Michigan and New York.
Can you believe it?   Nancy became a red head.  Nancy and Bob thought it was a great color for her.   She did this in preparation for the trip to Venice!

We were resting in this garden near the San Marco square. It was a relief from the narrow streets and crowds of people that were everywhere around the area.
We returned to San Marco Square and found even larger crowds. The tables are for the merchants that will come when the tourist season really begins.

A rooftop garden in a truly residential area of Venice .  It was only a few streets away from the academic area.
