The three majors in art at Kentucky Wesleyan College - Art Education, Studio Art and Visual Communication (graphic design) - are designed to provide students with appreciation of visual art and design, as well as an understanding of how art and design are created. Students who major in art will develop the skills necessary for future careers in art related fields including art education, graphic design and visual communication, and will be well prepared for graduate studies in art.

As an art major at Kentucky Wesleyan College students will take a variety of core courses in two and three-dimensional art disciplines designed to build skills and focus on talents. Classes are challenging, thought provoking, and allow students to fully develop their individual artistic personalities.
